FCC generally accepts gently used, clean, seasonally appropriate clothing and shoes for women, men, and children.
Below are additional items we accept, gently used and based on current needs:
- Suitcases & luggage
- Purses and bags
- Kitchenware (durable plate/bowl sets, toaster oven, air fryer, crock pot, etc.)
- Baby items
- Small household goods
- Towels
Please reach out with any specific questions regarding gently used gifts.
FCC is unable to accept the following items:
- Used towels
- Used sheets/ sheet sets
- Furniture
- Used car seats
- Fine china/ thin flatware
- Large household goods
Donation appointments ensure that staff are available to greet you and personally say thank you for this gift. Additionally, this allows us to connect and make sure the items you have in mind meet the current need of families and programs at FCC. With so many in need, we want to make sure we only accept gifts can be used effectively and efficiently.
Logistically, FCC operates with limited storage space and predicting incoming gifts allows our team to ensure adequate usage and storage.

Many families who are able to start over in a new, safe home are starting from scratch or with very little. These household items will help them settle in and ensure the basic needs like food, bedding, and privacy are met.
Air fryers and crock pots are staples in many homes, though often seen as a luxury. For many families balancing work, kids, and the added stress of maintaining safety after fleeing violence having the gift of a crock pot or air fryer for convenient home cooked meals makes a huge difference.
