totalled $858,171 of that amount $630,408 is from Government
grants, the balance is from foundations, corporation, fundraising, fees for
services and contributions. In addition, a total of $61,000 borrowed
throughout the fiscal year on the agencies line of credit was paid back so
that at the end of the fiscal year, June 30, 2005, the agency was debt free.
Expenses for the year are $849,856 showing a balance of income over
expenses of $8,315.
The Family Crisis Center greatly appreciates the wonderful generosity of the
many groups, businesses, corporations, social and civic organizations,
foundations and individuals who faithfully contribute to and support our work
with their financial gifts. For without your help and support we could not
fully serve our mission. Our special thanks to the Board and staff who worked
hard to make FY 2005 a successful year financially.
In addition to the Government grants fundraising efforts are essential for
meeting the annual budget. In addition to the government grants the amount
needed to be raised is increased for the past four years. In FY 2005 corporate
and foundation funds totalled $91,017. Contributions were up considerably
totalling $70,459. Fees for services were also good at $38,107. These funds
plus the Board’s successful fundraising effort in October of 2004, netting
$7,500 , make it possible for the agency to end the year debt free. Our
special and sincere thanks to all who contributed in any way to make it
possible for FCC to continue to provide needed services and programs. The
annual audit will be conducted in the coming months.
