A great adventure awaits
the Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County, Inc.!
Our building is being completely renovated!
In the upcoming months, Baltimore County will begin a total renovation of our
building. During the anticipated eighteen months while the construction team
works their magic, our organization will be displaced. We are committed
to continue providing services to the community during this time, but
to achieve this, we need your help.
We have made arrangements to set up our
Emergency Safe Shelter program in 15 apartments, and we need to transform
these empty spaces into safe, welcoming, healing homes. You can
help with this transformation by adopting an apartment!
To suitably furnish one safe shelter apartment will cost the Family Crisis
Center of Baltimore County (FCC) just over $2,000. Altogether, we need to
raise an additional $30,000 to provide continued services for incoming
clients. You can help by sponsoring an entire apartment, or any of the rooms
within.
• With just $55, we can make sure the bathroom is ready for a family.
• $460 will allow us to establish a kitchen (table, chairs, pots, pans,
dishes, utensils, etc.)
• We can furnish a bedroom for a family of four with just $760,
• and $910 will furnish a living room where our families can gather to
work together towards moving forward.
Any contribution you are able to share
will help us achieve our ambitious goals.
Please consider helping to transform these
ordinary apartments into extraordinary spaces of hope and healing;
because every person has the right to live in a home free of violence.
