Volunteer at the Shelter*

  • Volunteers needed at the Shelter to help shelter staff with monitoring the security system.  All times.  Click here to read more.
  • Volunteer needed at the Shelter to answer phones and perform receptionist duties on Tuesday afternoons, 1PM-5PM.
  • Volunteers needed at the Shelter to perform receptionist duties in the evenings.
  • Volunteer needed to work at the Shelter in the Children’s Program supervising craft projects and other recreation activities.

*The Safe Shelter at The Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County is a drug and alcohol free environment.  Background checks required to work in the Shelter setting.

Internships

The Family Crisis Center makes several internships available per year for graduate school student in areas of study pertinent to service, research and administrative functions conducted at the Center.  Areas of graduate study considered include, but are not limited to, clinical psychology, pastoral counseling, marriage and family therapy, clinical counseling, family studies, women’s studies, research and non-profit administration.
